I've dyed my eyebrows before with a brand called Swiss-O-Par, a two-step process. It worked okay but the skin around my eyebrows was dyed, too, and took a few days for that to fade. I was interested in the Godefroy because of the good reviews I've read.
Godefroy was easy. The process involves mixing one of the capsules of powder with a half a capful of the liquid. Included in the kit is a little mixing cup and a brush. It was easy to mix, not messy. I got enough dye for about three applications, though.
The dye was easy to apply and I only had to leave it on for one to two minutes. I took it off after two, thinking if my eyebrows weren't dark enough, at least I had enough tint for a re-do. Well, two minutes was all I needed. And the skin around my eyebrows wasn't dyed, either. This stuff worked great!
P.S. This is an addendum to my review written a couple of months ago. I found that each dye job lasts me about 2-3 weeks, and then I want a re-do. That doesn't seem that long to me, but each capsule contains enough dye for three pairs of eyebrows, so I've taken to splitting the capsules up and using only what I need. It takes hardly any time at all to dye my brows, so I can't say I really mind that it only lasts me 2-3 weeks, but it's definitely not the six weeks that Godefroy mentions.

Works great. Simple and not too messy. No problem with skin staining at all... I left it on a little TOO long since I'm used to crappy products, so be careful! I also did my eyelashes (CAREFULLY) with it about a month ago, and both my brows and lashes are still going strong. You get TWENTY applications, and unlike some other products that come in little brown bottles, the set up with the capsule and the lotion never go bad or become contaminated. 75 cents a use. My eyebrows are normally a medium brown. I applied this product and left it on for about two minutes, and my eyebrows are now very dark brown, almost black. Exactly what I wanted. My eyebrows now stand out and look great. I highly recommend, if you want your brows to be more noticeable and look fantastic.This tint is also very easy to apply and there is no mess.
The price is very reasonable as well, considering I paid $15 for an eyebrow tint at the salon and ended up with slightly darker brows that lasted for about a week. Just buy this kit and do it on your own!
The only con is that if you get the dye on your skin, it is hard to get off. So just be careful when applying.

It says no ammonia but this product burned really bad when I first applied it. I got used to it and dealt with it...It could be an allergy but I'm not sure. You definitely have to leave it on a lot longer than stated in the instructions. I love this eyebrow dye. My brows are naturally dark brown, but I like using this at the inner and outer corners because it makes them look a bit thicker as well. My best piece of advice is to apply it with a disposable mascara wand (spoolie), that way less gets on your skin and you have more control; this works better than using the included wooden stick. If some does get in your skin, I've found that nail polish remover/acetone will take it off just be careful not to get it in your eyes!
