How to Clean makeup brushes

All you need is:

1. Olive oil
2. Antibacterial washing up liquid

The olive oil moisturises the bristles which keeps them soft and helps prevent shedding. The antibacterial washing up liquid throughly cleanses the brush of all make-up and bacteria which could lead to future breakouts.

What to do:

Pour a teaspoon of both the olive oil and washing up liquid into a bowl, side by side. Take your first brush and use it to mix both liquids, using circular motions. Do this for fifeteen seconds or so. When you are finished, rinse the brush with luke-warm water and leave to dry. Simples!

TIP: I like to use a fresh mixture for each brush to ensure they are cleaned properly.
