My hairdresser used this on my hair and I went home and immediately ordered one. It's especially great on wet hear, but also works well on dry hair. My daughter has super fine hair and swims a lot during the summer. It ends up in one giant knot by the end of the day. I use the cricket before her shower and then again after, and she doesn't complain at all about it pulling. My only complaint is the location of the handle. The way it's designed is to be pulled down with the handle pointing downward like in the photo. So detangling your own hair is a bit difficult. I've tried using it sideways on my own hair, but it doesn't seem to get a good grip into my hair. Perfect for using on your kids, though!

My Sytlist used this once and said it was so easy to get through my fine but thick hair. I bought one and don't need to apply a detangler or styling product before I run this through my hair. Amazing!
