I'm uncertain of the authenticity of this denman brush. I own a 7 row denman brush that I purchased from sally's beauty supply. The brush that I purchased from the seller, wasatch beauty, has some noticeable differences than the one from sally's. The bristles on the brush are harsh on the scalp and less flexible. The gold denman logo on the top of the brush started to rub off after owning it for only 2 days. I have had my sally's denman for almost a year and the logo is still intact. Buy at your own risk because you may be purchasing a replica denman.

This Denman brush is a great curl definer on my 4a African American hair. Some things I don't like about the brush is how heavy it is, also it is hard to grip if you have products on your hands (ex: conditioner). The bristles are sharp and feel like a comb and a brush at the same time. Other than that I can say this is a great detangler.
