I'm growing my hair long and I read up that Boar Hair brushes are best because they are less likely to cause damage or breakage. I wasnt about ready to shell out a couple hundred bucks for a Mason Pearson brush, and saw that this was a close second in rating and quality. SO I figured I'd give this a try. I have very thick hair and this isnt able to comb through all of it. in order for me to comb my hair I have to section it a bunch of times, which is annoying especially if I'm not styling it or if I'm in a hurry. If you have fine/thinner hair then this would work pretty well. For thicker longer hair, this may not be the product for you.Thursday, January 23, 2014
Acca Kappa Professional Pro Pneumatic Hair Brush, Oval, All Boar Reviews
I've been using this brush every morning for a month or so now and I adore it. It gently de-tangles my long, curly hair and is neither too soft (I was concerned it might be) nor too stiff. The handle is pretty and even if the brush didn't work as well as it does, I would be content to have it as a dresser ornament! It was well worth the money and I'm so glad I didn't cheap-out and get a lesser brush. A big part of my decision to go with this brush was that it's made in Italy, not China. I'm done buying throw-away junk made in factories of questionable environmental and labor practices. Or, at least, I'm trying to be.
