I have rolled my hair since I was a kid. I have most generally used the "Magnetic" rollers because they make your hair smooth and shiny just like the Chi Iron does in this age. The real pain with rollers was always putting the little metal clips on the rollers so they stay put in your hair. This was especially important if your hair was thick and you had to sleep in the things. . . Sometimes the little clips catch your hair at the scalp and pull it. Ouch!

When I saw these, with the plastic over the roller clip I thought these might eliminate the metal clip torture. So I tried them out. The work. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because the clips do leave marks in your hair. So you still have to put the roller with the metal clips on the front or top of each row of rollers to cover the marked sections with smooth unmarked hair. Otherwise these are great and make the rolling operation a lot easier and faster.
