yesterday i went to target and decided to try the foundation. for me medium worked best. as i was applying one of the samples on i just about died. i have a very red nose and no foundation ever came close to covering the red. i was using mac foundation but it barely did any justice. this stuff is incredible. i got it at target for 30 dollars. my face looks so flawless and today alone ive gotten complements on my complexion. it evens out skin tone and it truly doesnt look like im wearing anything. i added one of their blushes and my skin is flawless on every level. also it lasts a long time. i work 8 hours shifts and im always so busy i never hAve time to retouch my makeup but this foundation lasts. its well worth the money. i plan on switching to this brand. thank you whomever created it. you are awesome. btw im 20.

I bought this product a couple years ago at target. This Christmas I received a new compact of Pixi Vitamin Veil. I thought it was great when I used it before, but I think my memory cast a rosy glow on an otherwise, very average product. I have trouble finding foundation that matches my pale skin, but this is even a little light for me. It blends poorly, and unless you apply very sparingly it appears powdery. That said, the virtue of this product is its ability to hide redness. It is better as a spot treatment for blemishes, dabbed on until the blemish disappears. Over an entire face, the results can be garish.

I previous rated this foundation highly, but now after wearing it a few more times, I feel quite differently. I did not exfoliate before applying this, but it looked like my face was so dry after it 'set up'. It settled into pores, lines, and created an overall unflattering appearance on the skin. My face does not feel dry, it just looks it with this stuff. I checked my face about 30 min after applying it (outside in natural daylight), and 'oh my'! I used the Pixi Flawles Beauty Primer first, then applied the foundation with a 'buffing' type brush. I have heard that these type brushes can stir things up on the skin (read: micro-exfoliate), but this was extreme.

Bottom line: Maybe this would be better for normal-oily skin types, not my normal-dry skin.
