This is PERFECT, I can't even think of a single thing negative thing about it! The brush is great, and the powder lasts forever (I wear makeup every day; I've had this over two years and I've barely made an indent. It's going to last me years!). Great value and a stellar product!

If you want natural-looking brows, this is exactly what you need. I have black hair, so I use "charcoal" which is a very ashy brown. When going for natural brows, you want a brow powder that is:

-a few shades LIGHTER than your hair (unless you're blonde, in which case go a few shades darker)

-NOT very opaque/pigmented

-NOT very rich in color (you want ashy, neutral tones, not vibrant dark colors)

I mean, would I use a thick black kohl eyeliner on my eyebrows? no way! If you have brown hair, would you use a richly pigmented, vibrant brown eyeshadow? no! For a natural-looking brow powder, you essentially want something that creates a soft, ashy shadow to fill in the areas between your actual eyebrow hairs--and this does exactly that. The color is definitely buildable--you can still create strong, bold brows without it looking overly fake.

(my brow routine: I fill them in with this powder, then lightly use an eyebrow gel to hold any stray hairs in place)

I've used this Clinique brown shaper for years and absolutely love it. Love the metal container, the very sturdy brush, and the actual powder. It is a little pricier than other brow powders, but it lasts forever and the metal case won't break. The brush is also great -much better than you'll find in the drugstore brand brow powders. I've tried pencils and occasionally use a brow pencil or wax-based brush on brow color, but I think this works a whole lot better and lasts a whole lot longer. Great product.
