Excellent product. I have long enough lashes, they just need thickening up. I had this product and bought Maybelline's "The Colossal Volum Express" (yes it's spelled 'volum') to compare the two and CoverGirl wins for a couple reasons. 1) Applicator is slimmer so you have more control (Maybelline's is fat and awkward), 2) CoverGirl "feels" better, lighter or something, 3) CoverGirl's product visually seemed to be better. I'll update my review if after a weeks worth of Maybelline I change my mind, but I doubt I will.

The "Very Black" is an exceptional color option for darkening blond-ish lashes like mine and really does lengthen and hold a curl very well. It doesn't clump or flake and while I bought the Waterproof version that lasts very well throughout the day, it doesn't take a lot of hard rubbing to wash it off at night. OTOH, though, it's not much for volumizing. This CoverGirl mascara is perfect! I absolutely hate when my eyelashes become clumpy, so I was so happy to finally find a mascara that gives my lashes a thick, bold look without creating clumps. I love the look, and I love the price! I will definitely be buying this mascara from now on.
