This product looked very promising and I was really excited to try it as part of a Bzz Campaign.

Unfortunately it did not deliver what was promised. I will start with the positive: it does cover dark circles well. However, it does accentuate my wrinkles and makes me look older, which is not what I was going for...

I wasted a lot of time trying to make this work. I found that the best way to apply this, is over heavily moisturized skin with my fingers after warming it well so it blends better. Even then, I will not wear it in daylight, because, frankly my skin looks awful with it. I could just wear this in the evening, except it makes my skin around the eyes super itchy and uncomfortable, which is strange for something that is supposed to have serum in it.

First let me disclose that I received these products for free in exchange for giving an honest review. I got 4 products to try. I love the concealer and the blush. The concealer goes on very easily, does not look "heavy" and provides a good amount of coverage. I have rosacea on my cheeks and this works great at concealing it. The blush goes on easily and blends well. There is also a corrector in the product line. It is supposed to be used in conjunction with the concealer. I thought this was redundant and actually made the coverage too heavy. The foundation product is just average in my opinion.

I had great expectations for this product because of the reviews that people have written in here... well, it's not what i expected at all, this concealer is very heavy and dry, it does have a good amount of coverage but in exchange you are getting your wrinkles and your lines accentuated even if you try to be light and apply it in layers. I ordered it in "Light" and it was darker and with too many pinkish undertones than i thought. It says is an "ageless" concealer and it does just the opposite.

I have dark shadows under my eyes that make me look somewhat older than I am. I have tried many different concealers but none of them worked. They didn't last long and as the day progressed they became cake like. They just didn't do the job to my satisfaction. I was watching TV one day when someone said they used Covergirl and Olay Simply Ageless Concealer. I thought, why not. It wouldn't hurt and if it didn't work I would just be out the cost. This is one of the best concealers I have tried. It doesn't cake, it goes on easy and I used the concealer brush. I will get this again and I am thankful Amazon sells it.

this concealer is one of the best I have used at such a good price. I am kind of a makeup snob who decided to give Covergirl a try. It does cover well and you need very little product. I also use the corrector as I have a bluish pigment under my eyes. It covers wonderfully also with very little product. A must try for anyone trying to cover dark circles under their eyes.
