This product is great if you have to go one more week before your root appointment. It is definitely better than going out with gray roots. Be aware that the dark brown is quite dark... If you're in doubt, try to find the medium brown (which I have found to be harder to find online.) Once it's on and dry, it doesn't run, stain, or look fake. Just put it on, let it dry, and then brush through.

I have tried other brands and I keep coming back to this one. It is basically like mascara. It's not perfect because it leaves a bit of a sticky texture on hair that will rub off on you if you touch it BUT the product is great for a quick touch up around hairline if you don't have too much gray yet.

Is a great idea and works great. The only issue is that it is very course and it feels stiff in the hair if you touch it. Other than that, perfect. Very convenient between colorings.
