The colors go on quite sheer there isn't as much pigmentation as you might imagine. But that's OK because it makes the colors quite wearable. In fact all of them are appropriate for daytime wear.
There is a bit of shimmer in the colors but there isn't any shine or glitter. You'll find the colors do reflect light but will not highlight wrinkles. The shimmer does cause quite a bit of fallout so you will notice shadow dust under your eyes during and after application. If you have already set your foundation with powder you can just brush the fallout away and it will not leave pigment streaks on your face.
The palette comes with a good sized mirror which is attached to the lid. It's a nice proper mirror, not a piece of foil glued to the lid so that's nice. There is a small brush included. The bristles aren't good quality but the brush is quite effective so don't assume you'll have or want to throw it away.
Overall this is a nice palette and a good value so long as you find yourself wanting all 10 of the colors.

This palette contains 10 full size shadows. They are basically pastel shades, with a lighter and darker of each shade. They colors are beautiful and pigemented. Though because of the pastel-ness of the colors they are not as intense as some may be used to. This palette is well worth the price, especially because of the price on here. It is originally $48 and here it is $17.99. It was a great deal at full price, nevermind the discounted price on here.
