Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program You've heard the saying "practice makes perfect". That applies to the Temptu also. It's not as easy as it appears when you watch the videos. I was afraid I'd shoot foundation in my eye, my mouth and up my nose (I didn't!). The instructions come with practice sheets so you can get it right there before you try it on your face.

Most days I don't wear foundation, only a BB cream -but for those special occasions I've always wanted my face to look perfect like those women's faces look in the Sephora catalog you know...not a pore, not a blemish, and the dewy moist look. Once you get the hang of the Temptu, which didn't take long, I was able to achieve close to what I'd see in a Sephora catalog, as close as one can get if you're in your mid-40's.

The mist is so fine, it's not like using a can of spray paint. You can build multiple layers if needed. I was able to cover a couple of faint age spots I have, and my freckles, and it felt like I wasn't wearing foundation, it feels like it's part of my skin. No cakey feeling. I also have dry skin and this didn't dry my skin out further. (I applied Laura Geller Spackle Primer before).

I'm a light in most makeup such as Bare Minerals. I'm also a Light 003 in this, but I tried the Porcelain 001 (called Fair here) also and that worked for me. In the summer, Light Medium 005 may be OK when I have a bit of a tan.

The only thing I didn't care for was the extra time involved with the compressor, over my usual routine. That may change as I use it more and become more experienced.

NOTE: I cannot comment on the blush or the highlighter/glow even those are listed as being included in this kit. Temptu provided me only a few foundation colors to try, no blush, no highlighter/glow.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I was so excited to receive this TEMPTU AIRbrush Makeup System 2.0 and Signature Starter Kit, Fair to experiment and learn the art of airbrush makeup. Unfortunately I have tried and failed to apply anything from this.

It appears that the makeup pods that were included were dried and wouldn't work. The compressor seems to be in working order and is blowing air, but no product. I thought it was just me, and asked my husband to help. He tried and the same thing happens, air blows with no makeup application.

I wear a full face of makeup everyday despite being a busy mom to two under the age of five. I love how quick and easy the tool is to use. One of my favorite things about the makeup is that it will not rub off onto my clothes and my children. Putting on makeup in the morning is no longer a chore, I am now starting to have fun and love the end result.

I found that the key to the application of the foundation, blush, highlighter and bronzer is the pressure. Make sure to get about 4-6 inches from your face and have the nozzle at 3 o' clock for foundation application and you will achieve a beautiful natural look. The highlighter is easy to use and it makes all the difference!

I would recommend you take the time to watch a demo and look at the instructions on where to apply the blush and highlighter as this was really helpful for me.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I was pretty excited to receive this product after trying out all the foundations in Macys and Nordstorm and the Mineral kits I really wanted to try this.

After selecting the right shade for my skin tone, I started using it to apply foundation the very first time it took me 30 mins since I have to cover a couple of blemishes. Next, I kept learning and refining the process and finally I am able to get it down to about 20 minutes and nothing less than that.

Now I have to question if it is worth 20 mins of my time or use a regular foundation in about 3-5 mins. It does a good job, but somehow for me it just take a longer time.

I wear a full face of makeup each and every day, complete with my bare minerals foundation. Not anymore. Starting today, I am a believer in this system and will be airbrushing my makeup on for every occasion, day or night. This system is easy to use and covers to well. I was a skeptic at first, as I have always used brushes and either a liquid or powder foundation, blush and bronzer combo. Now that I have done it once, I will never go back. My skin feels amazing, and the best part is all the compliments about how even my skin looks and how natural the makeup looks. It feels light, but there is a lot of pigment in the blush, so I have clean looking base and rosy cheeks. Also, cool tip: You can use the blush as lip stain also! SO COOL! If you turn the air pressure down and move the sprayer 2 inches from your lips, it gives a direct shot of color and stained my lips perfectly!

With only using a base, blush and highlighter (best beauty secret around) I was able to do my makeup in 15 minutes and feel amazing! I'm never going back to normal foundation/ blush. And the best part is that I didn't need to use brushes! I hate using brushed, as I fee like the color isn't even and the bushes are hard to keep clean. This brush-free system is amazing, you will love it!

That being said, here are some tips to make sure you use it right, and love it the way I do:

keep the sprayer 4-6 inches away from your face and move it in circular motions, slowly. Don't be afraid to evenly spread thin layers

Use the highlighter in "c" motions around your eyes, down your nose, just on top of your lip and in your eyebrow arches

try using the blush on your lips, it works!

Wherever you feel air, you are getting pigment so make sure you feel it in the right places
