I was so disappointed when Revlon discontinued my favorite long wear lip color, Color Stay Overtime Sheer, that decided to try the Outlast Double Lipshine. I was not disappointed, in fact, I like this better than the Colorstay Sheer. The consistency of the lip color is better, and it looks a bit more natural on than the Revlon. There was no flaking problem either, not even 10 hours later. Still looks just put on.
The gloss looks wonderful on, too, but I did not care for the short sponge applicator. The gloss lasts a long time, but does need to be reapplied once or twice during the day. I also like that the gloss is not goopy and shellac-like.
I chose the color, Glowing #300, to match my old Revlon color, Sheer Rosette. (It's a warm, but muted, medium rose color). There is a very slight frost to the Double Lip Shine which make the color appear more dimensional and less flat on the lip. I think it's more natural.
