I have normal skin and so i dont have to worry much about my eyeshadow smearing. unfortunately, when i wear mac, it smears and fades away! If you want brighter colors and to last longer use a primer! this is the key! as my test, one eye had a primer and the other didnt. afte 7 hours both had lasted and the only thing that smeared was the pencil eyeliner i was wearing.
if you want anymore information please ask me and i will try my best to answer your question!

As we all know, the cosmetic world is a multi-billion dollar industry, and for good reason. Transforming or enhancing your appearance with the wave of a brush is fun and empowering. This makeup palette is an economic way the everyday woman, or man, can practice and experiment with the many combinations of eyeshadow colours to create an unlimited amount of looks and effects to satisfy any mood or personality. It's also a secret weapon for makeup artists, like myself, considering not many high end brands sell a palette with such a bounty of colours in a compact case. Usually, you'd have to buy each shadow separate, decent shadows ranging from $8 to $30. Also, ladies, eyeshadow has an expiration date. Yes. The only colours I'd recommend the average makeup wearer to buy in large full-size pans would be your highlight shadows, a gorgeous brown suitable to your skin tone for the everyday neutral eye, jet black, and two colours that complement your eye colour. These are colours you'll reach for often and may use up quickly in this palette. As for the pigmentation, I recommend not buying eyeshadows that are overly pigmented until you've mastered the application and blending process. These have a pigmentation, on a scale of 1-10, of 6 and 7 in some cases. This allows you to build from medium coverage to a more dramatic effect. It also cuts the blending time which is a plus for busy individuals. Highly pigmented shadows are best suited for professionals mostly because once that colour is applied it may stain and take a beginner forever and a day to blend out the edge.Pros:
* variety of colours
* several finishes such as matte, satin, metallic, and shimmer
* afforable (This palette usually sells for twice as much on ebay and other vendors)
* decent pigmentation
* mirror included
* compact
* snug closure
Cons:
* case has the smell of pool water. I'm guessing it's just the plastic
* shadows smell like paint at first
* too many greens and blues for my taste
Overall I'm happy with my purchase. I lost my 120 palette in a plumbing accident and needed another to continue my work. Originally I paid $20 for the 120 so I was elated to pay $2 less for 60 more eyeshadows..even if those 60 are blues and greens(lol). Lastly, I want to add how professional and compassionate the Fash representative was while settling a dispute. I've never been treated with so much courtesy as a customer, sad but true.
