I have fallen in love with products by Physicians Formula. I don't especially look for mineral or talc-free beauty products, just long lasting products within a decent price range that work well. I have previously used other powders by Physicians Formula and this is one of the best.
I prefer loose powders which can be brushed on over packed powders or poof applicators. The case of this powder also allows a place for you to keep the little brush snugly and clean, which I love.
Unlike some powder applicators, you can clearly see how much powder is on the brush and apply it to your face. The powder does a wonderful job of going on and you can clearly see the difference. It helps to reduce shine and even out skin tone very well.
The brush may pick up a bit much powder for one dusting so I'd suggest tapping it to release excess makeup. Also, the container is a bit unique; you need to tap or shake it so that the powder will come up through the holes and if you have it bouncing around in a purse or bag, this will actually do the job for you very well.
Overall, this is an effective product which works well, feels good on the skin, has a clear result, and even takes into consideration the storage of the applicator. I would recommend it.

Before mineral wear came along i wouldn't even wear makeup, as other makeup just makes a person look older or caked on, settling into wrinkles,etc. I won't use anything other than mineral makeup (talc-free!)after this. No one can tell i am wearing makeup. It never cakes, it never looks fake. It gives me a light, natural look and evens out my skin tone wonderfully. I have mild acne from time to time and the nice thing about this product is it does NOT clog pores, so it does NOT aggravate my acne-prone skin. I still have to apply some green concealer on my acne scars and blemishes, but then i apply a beige concealer plus this over it and get great coverage. The coverage stays all day and never gets that oily business that you might get with liquid makeup. Also, pricewise, i think you get more for your money with this particular brand. Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Loose Talc-Free Powder is a great and inexpensive alternative to more pricey brands of cover ups and powders. The shade was perfect for my fair complexion. What's more, it effectively covers any blemishes or imperfections, without looking too caked on or artificial. I have very very fair skin and have a hard time getting makeup to be my shade. I almost need clown white.This product is fabulous and doesn't give me any issues.
The only complaint I have is the brush. Does anyone really use a brush that small? I use a white goat hair kabuki brush, which is similar, but bigger and definitely softer.

at first i thought this was a mineral foundation so when i found out it was actually a loose powder i was more than impressed! i mean this has the perfect coverage of a foundation but is lightweight and natural like a powder! i've fell in love with this product and i will not be changing my makeup anytime soon! i dont use the brush it comes with because i feel like its too harsh on my skin but other than that everything is perfect!!! i'd definitely recommend it to anyone with ache prone skin who wants makeup that's lightweight with perfect coverage!
