The bristles are soft but the brush is very thick (i.e. lots of bristles) and no shedding at all. It is perfect to use in my eye crease, smudging eye liner or shadow, and for contouring my nose.

This brush is much shorter than I anticipated I expected it to be the length of the regular/brushes but it wasn't. The long one was advertised but they sent me the short one which seems to be the travel size brush I'm not sure.. I feel like I overpaid for the brush since it wasn't the size that I wanted.. I kept it because the quality is still there although it's short in stature :))
