I just recieved my brushes in the mail and I was scared beacause of some of the reviews saying the brushes smell and that they shed badly but I had the same eperience but honestly ppl are so extra and extreme with thier reviews it does have a smell but to me any thing made out of wood packed and sealed in plastic would have a smell to me it smelled like new brushes in a leather pouch I love the variety of brushs! Only a couple hairs came out so what its not gonna be hair on your face or anything its not that serious! My make up application is smooth I wont have to buy make up brushs for years because I have every brush in the world happy and satified go buy them right now!

I had been saying I needed a [make-up] brush set for a while, and I since I'm on Amazon a lot and they have been really realiable, I decided to get one from the site. I was super excited because they arrived pretty quickly and SUPER anxious to use them. Boy oh boy, was I disapointed, and wanted to cry. When I initially used the foundation brush, the bristles started to come out as I brushed my powder on, then the same happened with the eyeshadow brush AND THEN the powder brush. This was the WORST item thus far that i have purchased from the site. I guess it's true, "you get what you pay for", I should have known that 32 brushes for 15.00, was a crock!!!!

Great assortment of brushes, some of the brushes were better quality than others and the case/brushes had a very funky smell until about three weeks after getting them
