I bought this to replace a similar cheap drug store brush that broke in half very quickly. I like this one and I'm surprised how much sturdier it seems. The bristles are pretty rounded so they're soft to use, and the hinge is fairly strong. I wouldn't use it as a daily brush but for what it is a travel brush it's great for putting into a small purse "on the go."
Edited to add: I notice in the listing the product color is red, but I know listings change sometimes. The one I received was black. If you care about the color you might want to check into this before buying.

This little hairbrush fits perfectly in my tiny purse and weighs almost nothing, but opens out into a great brush with a nice mirror. It's exactly what I wanted. I plan to order more for gifts for my sisters!
