I just bought this today in the Charged duo pack and I love it! I am black with fairly dark skin (think somewhere between milk and dark chocolate, but closer to milk). I have been looking for an eyeshadow that 1. shows up on my skin and 2. lasts for a while. I bought this and I am excited to say that it does just that.The gold and rust color are pretty vibrant and show up wonderfully. I have pretty oily eyelids so I usually put a coat of eye primer on first and it lasts for a while.

I definitely recommend this to girls with darker skin looking for colors with some oomf and staying power.

I am blonde with green eyes and wanted a purple/plum shades and green shades to play them up. First off, Loreal HIP shadows are just fabulous and such high quality shadows. The colors are magnificent. They go on so well. Like the others in this line, the colors can be subdued and natural with a slight hand application or more striking using a heavier hand and more product. It just depends on the look you want. Women from teens to 90+ (I am 61) can wear these colors. Older women can wear bright colors well! Don't be afraid to try it. SHOCKED The gold is very soft and has a lovely shimmer to it. Greens are tough to find the right shade but this green is just the perfect slightly metallic shade. ELECTRIFIED The plum is a deep muted shade, with shimmer, almost into the browns. You could do a really great smokey eye with this one. The taupe is such a wonderful soft, shimmery shade. I just love it! I also bought the FLAMBOYANT duo which is also fabulous. I love the high pigment colors of this line. Can't wait to buy more! These shadows are like a powder cream to me and go on so beautifully without creasing and wear really well. If you are on the fence with these colors...go for it, you will be glad you did!

I bought this as it was cheaper than the usual Urban Decay eyeshadow and I though I would try it out. Black isn't as thick as I expected when I apply it (compared to Urban Decay) but the silver is actually better than Urban Decay. The color goes on with great coverage and is easy to apply and lasts the whole day, just like Urban Decay. It even has it's own applicator brush in the bottom half of the container making it easy to take with me in my bag.

As a loyal Urban Decay purchaser I will be purchasing more of these rather than Urban Decay, however I will still use Urban Decay to purchase black eyeshadow.

I thought the colors in this duo were silver and bright purple, but they are actually taupe and deep purple. It's beautiful! I did a smoky eye and got many compliments! Very pretty colors.
