Ever since Shaper Plus changed their ingredients, I have been looking for a hairspray that would really hold. I have rather long, baby fine hair and it is limp and flat without the help of a good hairspray. I used Shaper Plus for years (the one that had a red flame symbol on the can) and when it stopped being available, I started my search for a replacement and must have tried well over a dozen sprays before I found Matrix Hard Lock. And, WOW, it's even better than Shaper Plus! So, if you're an old fan of Shaper Plus here is the hairspray you've been looking for. I have only one, tiny complaint: it sprays with such force that it blows around my hair. I have solved that by first lightly spraying my hair with one of the many hairsprays I have acquired to sort of firm everything a little and then giving my hair the "blast" of Matrix. Matrix, please, please keep making this superb product.
