these brushes are okay. definitely not professional status lol so DO NOT use on a client. Great starter kit or if for some reason you need something like now and cant afford the expensive stuff.The large fan brush looks pretty cheaply put together they SHED not bad or like in chunks. im using a rat tailed comb to comb the extra hairs out. dosent smell like rubber smells like glue. the smell is fairly faint,tolerable.the eye shadow brushes look of better quality softer. there are 24,but 2 additional pockets are added?? their not soft but their not rough either. 1 of the angles brushes are slightly rounded. pretty good for the price:)

The makeup case it comes in smells heavily like burnt rubber when you first open up your package. I was missing two (2) of the makeup brushes, and a brush was missing it's bristles entirely. Two of the larger shadow brushes took almost an hour each to de-shed the excess bristles that would've potentially gone all over my or a client's face. Overall the majority of the brushes though aren't bad, you just have to take the time to clean all of them and de-shed any loose bristles. I also took the liberty of using needle-nose pliers to clamp the casing holding the bristles to ensure they stayed in just in case. Normally I would never go to so much trouble with a set of brushes, but these are not professional quality brushes and I just wanted a set that I could use for whatever. I would only recommend buying this set if you are just doing basic makeup on yourself.

These brushes are incredible.!! Excellent material, this brush set is all that you could need for contouring, apply liquid and powder makeup, blush, eye shadows.... Several other reviewers stated that you get what you pay for. I disgree. I think the quality of these brushes far exceed what I would have expected. Some of the brushes are softbut not all. it's a very good collection fo brushes for the price.

Another complaint was the smell. Maybe because I was expecting something horrible, I found the smell to be barely noticeable. I left the package unwrapped and lying open in my bathroom and by morning, I couldn't smell anything.
