At first, when I opened it, I was surprised at how small the brush was. However, I quickly got over it because I have small hands so it didn't turn out to be a problem for me. For a drugstore brush, I have to say that these are of pretty good quality. The bristles on the brush are nice and dense, which helps for better application. It's not as waxy as the other cheap brushes and it feels nice on the face.

This brush gives me a more finished look than I have ever gotten using my fingers to apply foundation or tinted moisturizer. I get a softer, sort of airbrush-like result with it. I have always had issues with my concealer rubbing off when I applied my foundation over it, and this brush has solved that problem because I can now "paint" over the concealer with a much lighter touch.

I can't compare this to any other foundation brush because this is my first one, and maybe the higher-end brushes are better in some way, but this brush is perfect for me. The bristles are firm, yet soft and are shaped perfectly for applying make-up. It's also easy to clean, and I haven't had any bristles fall out. I have finally graduated from finger-painting to using a brush!

Not the best at putting on cream foundations, but then again I only use it to contour. Fast shipping though and easy to clean!
