I own 3 sets of Sigma Brush Travel Sets (this one, Keep Me Classy, and the London set.) However, Sigma Brushes are still poorly constructed and lower quality when compared to Dior, M.A.C. or Chanel brushes. I didn't purchase any of them from Amazon but the product is the same as what is offered here.

When compared to other travel sets, Sigma makes pretty decent brushes.

Pros:

1. Travel friendly case that protects brushes from being squashed in transit (this is my favorite part about Sigma brush sets).

2. Sturdy handle and good construction for travel set.

3. Longer length than most other travel sets (so they feel more like full brushes).

4. Pretty colors.

Cons:

1. The quantity of bristles in the blush and larger powder brushes are smaller than the ones in some other travel sets, including one in a Sephora set.

2. The hairs fall out. The Mrs. Bunny set didn't have this issue as much but Sigma's London set did have this issue really badly -large chunks of the hairs would fall out. Mrs. Bunny would only shed 1 or 2 hairs when I washed it. I have used it so I don't believe I can return the London set with the bristles that keep falling out (I also didn't keep the packaging because I didn't think I would need to since I had 2 other sets that were performing up to par).

3. Brush hairs can get "frizzy." My Mrs. Bunny set is the best one out of the 3 that I own. The Keep Me Classy set "frizzes" when I wash the brush hairs. I use Clinique's makeup brush cleaner when I wash them and while the Mrs. Bunny brush hairs do not frizz, the Keep Me Classy ones stick up and get a "frizzy" slightly wavy texture. Very odd.

Overall, I say if you are looking for a relatively cheap brush set for travel, go ahead and buy a standard Sigma Travel Kit brush set. However, if you are looking for quality brushes, which I was, stick to the bigger brands and don't buy travel kits. M.A.C.'s travel kits are absolutely terrible in comparison to their regular brushes.

This set of brushes makes learning the art of application more fun! For a beginner, the range of brushes included in the package is enough to be able to achieve the look you desire.

When I looked at the brushes online, the large powder brush looked circular instead of oval shaped. These brushes are extremely soft and apply the makeup very even. The baby blue brush case that comes with the kit is very portable. I was sort of expecting the brushes to be a little larger than what they are but other than that, I give a thumbs up to Sigma Beauty!

The brushes come in a nice set with an adorable brush holder. However, the quality of the brushes did not meet what I expected for paying almost $70.The brushes are well designed, but I found that most of them are not that soft, comparing to the Real Techniques brushes. It does feel bristly and stiff on a skin. I would say that these syntactic brushes are good for cream texture but not powder.
