This is the first boar's hair brush I've used, and I am quite satisfied. The handle is lightweight and looks nice. The bristles are pretty well anchored with only a few coming out. Soft bristles, but firm enough to get through my hair. My only complaint is that the first few weeks of using this brush produced SO much static in my hair. Perhaps this is typical of boar's hair brushes. This problem has lessened, likely due to conditioning of the brush or my hair with natural oil.

The boar bristles are so soft and this brush is easy on your hair. The only con I have is that it's a little too large for shorter hair.
