I really wanted to try this product before I bought the full size and I love this mascara!!! I have very sparse lashes and this crazy looking brush goes where other brushes can't. Just be careful not to glob it on but it coats even the tiniest lashes that you never knew you had. Will purchase again.

I don't wear a lot of makeup, usually just lipstick, moisturizer and mascara, because of this, I feel okay splurging on nice stuff. This mascara just didn't work for me. Not only was it clumpy and dry, the flexy toothed applicator wand didn't fair well when it came to applying the mascara. It's hard to control the amount of mascara on the wand without going into OCD land with tissues so that you don't end up with awful 'tarantula eyes.'

But the weirdest problem was the mascara. I shook the bottle and rolled it between my warm hands, no deal, it was still pretty thick. Very strange.

Two days after I used the mascara my eye was itchy and irritated. It felt like I had something in it. But when I looked, there was nothing there. As the day went on the sensation of something in my eye increased. By the time my honey got home, my eye was red and I'd covered it with a cool towel. He looked and found a tiny, hard lump on the inside of my eyelid, sort of like a tiny inflamed pimple (I know, totally gross!).

So, long story short, I wouldn't buy this mascara again.

This is not Clinique's best mascara by any stretch of the imagination. The applicator wand, while kind of fun to use, isn't really practical and doesn't distribute the product evenly. As a result, the mascara flakes off pretty easily. It does have a lengtheing effect, but the end result just isn't great. I will not repurchase this.

I did not purchase this mascara through this seller, so I can't comment on shipping. But you should probably buy it in the store if you can, it's cheaper and no shipping. I paid $14, as opposed to the $32 + $5 shipping.

Pros: This mascara does what is advertised, lashes do look significantly longer. I did a side-by-side comparison (one eye with this mascara and one eye with my previous mascara, covergirl lash blast length) and this mascara definitely won that contest. My lashes looked much longer than with the covergirl mascara. However some fullness was sacrificed for length.

Cons: The applicator does make it hard to control how much mascara goes on and could possibly make your look a little clumpy. A good lash separator should fix this problem. I have used plastic applicators in the past and didn't have the same problem, so maybe if you wanted, you could try a different applicator.

Overall, good mascara, tricky applicator.
