If you want a smooth, even "air brushed" look to your foundation like you see on magazine covers, then this type of brush is how you achieve it.

My first experience with this type of brush [vs the "flat" brushes generally sold for foundation application] was with a Mac 130 "Flat Topped". Flat topped brushes are great for evenly blending foundation on the forehead, cheeks, sides and chin area and give you a flawless appearance. However, they prove to be difficult when trying to blend foundation around the eyes and nose. The Sigma F86 solves that problem with its "tapered & pointed" end, providing smooth even coverage of foundation on the eyelids, inner and outer corners of the eye as well as under the eye.

Pros:

1 A nice sized brush that is neither too big nor too long and is easy to handle.

2. bristles are very soft

3. blends foundation evenly with no streaks [which can be a problem with the standard "flat" foundation brushes]

4. well made

5. priced at less than half of the "other well known brand" it is a very good buy

6. In my experience, {this is my 2nd Sigma brush, my 1st one being several years old and still going strong}, Sigma brushes hold up very well to cleaning [I wash mine every day with Ivory soap].

This is one foundation brush I will not live without!

Finally got the complete kabuki set,, this brush is excellent for applying concealer on the go or even contour your face with cream product.

I gave it 4 stars because I felt like it soaked up a lot of product however, the brush is nice quality and doesn't shed like other brushes that are animal hair even tho I like those too. I would recommend this brush and keep in mind that these brushes retain water so when you go to wash it do it at night so it'll be ready for morning or next day use.

I am using my husbands account. What else can I say. I love these brushes. My makeup goes on a lot smoother and more effortless since I started buying sigma brushes. I am in the process of replacing all my brushes to sigma brushes. I already have several. I'd like to have them all!!! There a bit pricy but worth every penny!!!
