This is my second Baxter brush. My original one broke after a couple of years and being dropped on a tile floor. They do not lose hairs like cheaper brushes and they create a nice lather. I liked it so much I bought a replacement one (this one) to replace my blue-handled one.

The brush is a very good best badger brush, which the ad states as best badger. But it also states it is silver-tip quality and shows a silver-tip picture as well as best badger. I talked to Amazon to find out which one it really is and was told they couldnt tell from the information that they had. I was told to order it and if it wasnt what I was looking for to return it. The price indicated to me that it was best badger but I was hoping it would show up as silver-tip and it would be a great bargain. Well you get what you pay for, it is best badger. It appears to be a fine quality brush and works fine, but shame on Amazon for the bait and switch type ad.

This is a huge step up from my previous pure badger brush. The lather production of this brush is fast and perfect. Applying the lather to the face with this brush is a real treat, it just feels amazing. There is also a nice weight to the brush which feels nice in the hand. The look of the brush is what caught my interest at first but that is nothing compared to how it performs. Overall I am incredibly satisfied.
