Ok, so I have been making some healthy changes with food and cleaning products lately, and wanted to change up some of the beauty products I use (there is SOO much toxic stuff in makeup, I had no idea. We'd never eat the stuff in it, so why put it on our skin, which absorbs it into our bloodstream even more?). So I thought I'd try out this whole mineral makeup thing, just to see if it worked, since I was skeptical about "natural" makeup. Usually I use a stick concealer, liquid CoverGirl foundation in ivory, and a fair colored compact Cover Girl powder on top.Oh my gosh, why have I never known about mineral makeup before?!? It works SO much better! I tried it for the first time this morning. I'm currently VERY broken out and blotchy, so I was skeptical that the tiny jars of IQ would cover the red and blemishes. But it totally did; I was shocked. You only have to use a TINY bit...just barely get it on your brush, and tap out any extra into the lid. Like some of the others have mentioned, a little goes a long way. I was worried that some people have said the fair colors are too light, but it worked out fine for me. I blended the two main colors together a bit and it was perfect. My skin looks so even and nice with it, but it doesn't feel heavy and caked on. I was also pleasantly surprised that hours later, I don't have as oily a T-zone as I usually do.
Cons... I'm not a fan of the eyeshadow; it's pretty but I'm not really a glitter person. I would have liked maybe a dark brown or smoky grey instead. Or maybe even a warm pink. Also, the brushes might be pretty cheap quality. They feel nice and soft, but during just one use, the biggest one already had bristles sticking out. So you might want to invest in a better brush set, but these little ones are great for travel.
The jars for the concealer, bronzer and eyeshadow are pretty tiny, so I'm scared I'm going to drop one and lose it all one time, haha..so be extra careful! But this kit seems like a great value to be able to try out the brand and see if you like it.
Overall, I'm really impressed, especially since I feel like I barely used any of the makeup. Very cool. I'm excited and surprised because I'm now totally rethinking the way I do makeup. Wish I'd known about this before! I always assumed there was no way powder could cover better than liquid foundation. Yay for healthier stuff that works!

So it just arrived took only 2 days which was great I thought I was going to wait at least a week. It's pretty amazing lol it's light & looks natural, only thing is one of the brushes hairs come off which got annoying.... overall it is worth it! It sure is a good price for 12 items, & its not like most that are half empty these are full to the top ! As someone who has worn bare minerals for about eight years, I didn't think id ever wear another foundation. With the cost of things these days I had to find a way to cut back in some places. I bought this product because I just could not bring myself to pay for Bare Minerals. I Love it. It stays on all day which in the past my old makeup never stayed on. It gives you such a natural glow and natural look. I do use a primer under the makeup which possibly helps with it staying on longer, so i do highly reccommend a primer.The only thing i hate about ANY mineral makeup is that it is a loose power product which can be somewhat messy.
