This is a solid plastic disc, essentially. The tips are part of the central wheel, not attached with a plastic tab. The wheels have 20 tips (not 22 x 10) each. Each tip is long, wide and smooth, allowing plenty of space to paint or for nail art. They would probably be very good for practicing stamping. The color is not white; mine were more "natural." You can write on the plastic with a permanent marker. I didn't experience any smearing, but I did allow it to dry first.
The tips are large enough that I painted 1/2 to 3/4 of the nail and got a fine representation of the color. The polish dried quickly. I did not attempt to use nail polish remover (acetone or non-acetone) so I can't speak to their durability for reuse. You could probably use non-acetone without too much problem, but it's probably cheaper just to buy more.
If you are looking for wheels to swatch your collection or to create nail art for show, go for these. You won't be disappointed unless they aren't in stock. They are high quality and so nice to use. If you just need to swatch some tests or color combos, go for the cheap, flimsy wheels or buy a set of fake nails.

I use these to keep track of what colors of nail polish I have and to test drive them against my nails. You get a lot in this set. You can use nail polish remover to take the polish off but they lose their shine if you do; however, they still work. Overall I'm happy with them
