This is a nice inexpensive blush. I fairly dark-skinned African American and this gives a nice soft color on my cheeks. The color stays on throughout the day and glides on smooth. It's a product to brighten up the face. I apply a small amount of this blush to the apple of my cheeks and put on lip gloss and I am ready to go.

I admit that I own at least a zillion blushes. Nars, MAC, Bare Minerals, Smashbox, Milani. You name it, I probably have it. It's a problem, I know, but there are worse things a girl could collect. That said, this baked blush by Elf in the color "Passion Pink" is the one I reach for day after day. I like it even better than Nars "Orgasm" which is a little too peachy for my skintone. This ELF blush ranks right up there with the far more expensive brands for staying power and beauty. This color is a lovely pinky-brown that is slightly shimmery so if you're looking for something matte this isn't the shade for you. It will give you that extra little pop of color and the famous "glow" without looking like a glitter ball. It blends over foundation very nicely, stays all day on my normal-to-oily skin and is pigmented just enough that I don't ever look overly made up, even when I've rushed to get ready. My skin is the palest shade of white, however, so if you have a darker skin tone this may not work for you or you may want to use it over a darker blush. I've heard you can apply these wet without ruining the blush and I imagine it would make a really lovely eye shadow used this way. These are a steal and well worth a try if you have pale skin and want a little healthy color.
