I use this brush to apply Amazing Base, and to thicken application around red, irritated skin. It has a long graceful handle and soft bristles that can be maintained with a brush spray or a gentle shampoo (I've always used shampoo). Every other time I've tried to use a brush to apply make-up I've been disappointed, but the closeness of the bristles gives you great control, and my pores disappear. I've also had this brush for over ten years, so don't be discouraged by the high price tag; in this instance, you're getting what you pay for, and so long as you conduct routine maintenance to avoid oily build up this could last a lifetime.
