...why not use your unit to do EVERYTHING it's capable of?
Each and every Clarisonic cleansing unit is waterproof without the cord, so don't worry about using it in the shower. The TUB, however, is a different matter . A Clarisonic should not be submerged into water.
For years, I've used mine in the shower by wetting my body, then turning off the water, and then scrub not only elbows, knees and feet...but treat your skin and lymphatic system with neck to toe buffing using this body brush head.
I rinse the entire unit under the shower waterfall, and on exiting give it a quick wipe and back on the charger she goes.
