I decided to write this review because when I was looking to purchase these brushes, I could not find a review anywhere. I usually look up items I am interested in buying. I just received these today and, even though I read the measurements of these, I couldn't picture in my mind exactly how small they would be. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package. They are mini which is good because I can probably fit these in some of my larger compacts. The brush head is smaller than an average brush. I would say it is very much like the brushes that come in the Revlon cream gel eyeliner, the Physicians Formula cream eyeliners, or the lip brush in the Nuance perfect lips quad. Some people mentioned that they found the brushes for these products too small, but I didn't. The brush is tapered, which I like because I can't stand blunt-cut lip brushes. Another thing is that the brushes come soft. Many lip or eyeliner brushes I have purchased are stiff when you first take them out of the package. One last thing, this brush is not exactly retractable, it is just goes into the cap which is a little shorter than the length of the entire brush. You take the cap off and put it on the end of the brush and it creates a longer handle. Since I received them in the mail today, I have been using them to try on different lip/eye products. They have performed well. I am very happy with these brushes. If you are looking for lip/eye brushes to throw in your purse or anywhere else, I definitely recommend these they are a great value!
