I had ordered 2 E25 brushes last year from sigma and i loved them and as i frequently do others makeup and i use this brush often i wanted to buy more. I placed an order to buy 3 more and they were absolutely HORRIBLE. They looked nothing like the ones i had received the year prior to purchasing these 3. The bristles on all 3 are everywhere and are not as dense as the previous e25 i had ordered from the year before. So upset and annoyed, i shouldve purchased MAC or Sedona Lace brushes.

This brush is obviously very similar to the Mac 217. Comparing them side-to-side, they're about the same size and density. The most significant difference is that the Sigma E25 has some "straggly" hairs (which after a couple of washes and conditionings got better).

As it's handy to have a few blending brushes on hand, would buy again if I could get a better price on shipping to Canada. With the shipping, the price of the Sigma brush is about 2/3s that of the Mac (but it's only 1/3 the price for Americans unfair!).

I guess my expectations for the brush was too high so when it didn't do all that I thought it would I was disappointed. I gave it three stars also because the hair on the brush started to spread out like an old toothbrush.
