I have very long and thick hair that tangles a lot!! So brushing my hair was always painful and a long process!! Sometimes I will even need my boyfriend to help me! That's how bad it was! With this hair brush I actually enjoy bruising my hair! Pain free! It leaves my hair looking beautiful and ready to go like no other brush had ever done! I definitely recommend it! I never thought j could spend dome much money on a brush but it is totally worth it! Plus you get a much better price on amazon that everywhere else so you are getting a grate value for it! Go for it! You won't regret it!

Had one of these for 20 years which I bought in England when I lived there. This replacement works almost as well but feels lighter weight in hand (I bought same BN1 before), like handle has plastic in it instead of wood as I remembered. Also seems to have more nylon that boar. My box was oddly cut opened when I received it. I am almost wondering if this is a knock-off that was put in a real mason pearson box. Either way, it was a good price and works pretty well.

My Popular was a gift in 1978 from my then-boyfriend's mom (bless her heart!). I had no idea for years how expensive it was, I just knew it was the best hairbrush EVER. I have used it virtually every day since, clean it occasionally, and it is still in perfect condition. I have fairly long hair that is fine, but thick, and this brush makes my hair smoother and shinier than any other--plus, it feels so good when you brush your hair with it. Amazing brush, and totally worth the price. I would never give up my Popular.

THE best brush ever made! It gets through thick and thin, fine and coarse hair. And it's good for the hair and scalp! Even my grandchildren each have one!
