Review of NARS Shimmer Eyeshadow

I tried this color on a whim. It has now become my favorite! It is such a great color because it is day or night suitable. It is kind of a shimmery taupe. It has purple and brown undertones. I wear it with NARS Bengali (a dark brown shadow). Ashes to Ashes is a great base shadow because its not dark or dramatic. I definetly recommend this color and brand.

This is a beautiful purple-taupe shadow. I have medium-light skin with a slight yellowish undertone, and I think it looks amazing. Friends and strangers have asked me what color I'm wearing. I have to get up early and I do my makeup around 5:30 am, and this lasts without creasing until around 4 pm with a primer. I absolutely love this shadowit's worth the price!

In the pan it looks mocha with subtle gold glitter, on the lid it is an extremely dark matte brown, almost just looks black. Don't buy if you're expecting a shimmery mocha, the shimmer doesn't really transfer to the eye at all. But it does wear long

When I first received this eyeshadow in the mail I was disappointed at the size. It seemed awfully small for the money. But this eyeshadow packs a wallop. A little goes a long way and it is the perfect shade for day time. I love NARS products. They may be small but they are definitely worth every penny.
