I don't normally review makeup but this is one of the best new makeup products I have ever bought. It REALLY DOES STAY! You have to wash this stuff off with an oil based makeup remover or it will leave traces for days. How it works: One side you push up and it has like a lip gloss applicator. This is the color side. You have to be careful when you put this on because you don't want to mess up or you will have to start over if you don't get it off fast.It feels really sticky when you first put it on but after you add the sealer it feels like any other lipstick. You have to let the color dry for 2 minutes then you use the other side which is like a chap stick or stick of gloss to seal the color.I remember trying the color stay lipstick when it came out and thought it was ok but it always dried my lips out and didn't last nearly as long as this stuff. You can eat, drink, whatever and it lasts and lasts,so nice not to have to worry about reapplying. It does lose some of it's original shine after a few hours but your lips stay evenly colored and not dried out.I highly reccomend this lip color.Give it a try,you will not be disappointed!

I bought this originally with the idea that if I didn't like it, or it didn't work exactly as described in the TV ads I'd seen, I'd return it to the point of purchase (a local drugstore) for store credit or a refund to my card.I needed neither one. What I did need was to buy yet another one for my purse -for the always just-in-case-be-prepared-touch-ups -because there is only one way to remove this stuff: Straight grease -I'd recommend Vaseline, baby oil, or eye makeup remover on a cotton ball. Always remove this before you cleanse your skin because of the grease factor. You want your complexion moisturized, but not so much that you get blemishes right around your lip line (and those hurt worse than any other kind of zit in the world) because you took your lip color off last, with some sort of grease.
95% of women are convinced they have sensitive skin. Of those 95%, only 5% of them actually have sensitive skin. I know because I'm one of them, and this lip color is fine for our delicate skin, especially because of the way it has to be removed (oil-free eye makeup remover or some other sort of grease).
After you've finished your skin-care regimen, may I recommend Carmex on your lips to keep them soft, moisturized, protected from the elements in general and, therefore, generally happy.
Thank you for using my review when you consider whether to buy this product. I also recommend buying it from Amazon.com: they have the best prices on it that I've seen anywhere: $4 less than what I paid for mine (and that was before the 7% state sales tax).
