It removes all eye make up easily. Yes, it gets the smokey look off too. Use Q tips for edges. Doesn't burn me or irritate. I'm allergic to many cosmetics and scents. This works for me. My tween and her giggly friends borrowed it and now it's gone. Stocking stuffer for their little make up training kits to keep them out of my stuff..
