They are soft and have a handle with the perfect length!
I recommend these brushes to teens... On the go moms... anyone that is looking for quality in an inexpensive set of brushes!
They are not sigma brushes so you can't expect anything pro, but if you know how to use your brushes then you can work your magic and make your make up look AMAZING! I do recommend getting the NYX stippling brush for a multi use brush. I use mine for my powder (on top of my liquid foundation), my blush/bronzer, and to set my make up by stippling my face to set it all. It takes off the excess and makes your face look 5 TIMES more beautiful!

Some of the brushes are great, others not so much. I probably should have returned this, but I'll just throw out the bad brushes and replace them.
