The brush is a bit scratchy and does not comb through too well. I have medium, average, a bit wavy, color-treated hair. For the price I expected more, esp after a friend of mine said that this brush is as good as Mason Pearson BN1... I don't know I have not tried Mason Pearson, but she has them both...Now I want to try Mason Pearson just to see if I'm missing smth.

I also purchased Olivia Garden Ceramic + Ion Supreme Large Paddle Combo Hair Brush () and I like that one a lot more, for me Olivia one is 4.5/5, while this one barely made it to 4/5

I just realized why I like the other brush more:

Acca Kappa Professional Pro Pneumatic Hair Brush has a narrower combing [hair/scalp contact) path, which makes it scratchy; but Olivia Garden one has brushing surface is not only quite cushy but also flat enough to cover large area at once, which feels amazing.

I have had many favorite brushes in the past and usually when they wear down or a I need to refresh my brush the brand does not exist anymore. I bought this brush from Afghanistan as I deperately needed a new brush and I am very pleased with this product. I have very long, thick hair which requires a multi-bristle type brush. This goes through my hair nicely without pulling or snagging my hair out. Very hard to find. I would recommend this item for those with longer hair.
