I didn't actually purchase this brush here on amazon but I figured I would leave a review for others who may be looking at this. This is an amazing brush. If it didn't have the name printed on it I would assume it was a quite expensive from sephora type of a brush. It feels soft on the face but the bristles as a group are firm so you can really buff things into the skin for a beautiful finish. When I purchased mine it did not shed at all, now I have had it a good year or so and after having washed it very often it sheds a bit because I suspect I have loosened the glue from being careless with heavy use. WELLL WORTH THE MONEY

I bought this brush because of positive reviews I had read. Here are my observations after using this brush for a few weeks:

PROs:

Cool, unusual design

Soft

CONs:

Short bristle length makes this difficult to clean without exposing the shaft to water, when using cleaner that needs to be rinsed. Getting that part of the brush wet should be avoided in order to not loosen bristles

This brush, although soft, is rather firm, again due to the short bristle length. This firmness leads to picking up too much product, especially when using the brush with compact powder (foundation). I have never seen my foundation diminish faster than with this brush and for that reason am not using it with compacts anymore.

Other than that cute brush but I prefer other models with longer bristles.

I bought this brush to use with my mineral makeup instead of the smaller rounded kabuki I had been using. I noticed a big difference in ease and smoothness of application. The brush is made of short, dense, and very soft bristles, which makes it excellent for buffing in powders without irritation. It's a bit large and heavy for a brush, but it feels solid and I have not noticed any shedding in the two months I've had it. I do wish that it came with a cap to protect the bristles in travel, but otherwise I highly recommend this brush if you need to buff in powder foundations.

This is my first time ever using a Kabuki brush and I must say I love it. I don't know about any other brands but this little brush is soooo soft, I like it also because the brushes are short and I feel like I have more control over it. I use the L'Oreal BB cream and this brush is perfect with it, it goes on so smootly and flawlessly. No regrets here!
