This fits nicely into the palm of your hand and is made of an attractive, pale wood with a nice, smooth finish.
The wood is much more substantial than in any other nail brush I have purchased.
I personally prefer "stiffer" bristles; I'm not sure how these will hold up.
Also, if you plan to use this in a powder room, be aware that you will be advertising for Crabtree & Evelyn--their name is carved prominently into the top of the brush. Then again...this is true of some of their soaps as well.
Addendum: the brush does not, in fact, hold up well to daily use unless it's handled very gently.
If you want a brisk "scrubbing" brush, look elsewhere.
