Now, people have to realize that what works for one person may not necessarily work for another. As a common example, in order for same product to work for all, you have to be on the same diet, eat same amount of times, use same care regiment, hair texture and etc. So please understand that if this doesn't work for you, it's ok, just didn't work. For me, it did! With that said, I had to say that because when I read reviews, I sort of try to read between the lines to see if it will work for me or not, while also considering the ingredients and the benefits. But I see too many people too often blasting off a product negatively that they claimed did not work for them, and who knows why? Once again, the only true test to show if it works for all will be to have a controlled group. I on the other hand, absolutely loved the product for both my child and myself. it grew both our hair. I went to buy more and they were out, hence I found it on Amazon and am buying 3.

For African American Children, it usally works pleasantly well.

I gave this two stars because it's a good product it seems and smells really good. My daughter had a really bad scalp and face breakout from this though. If your kid is sensitive to things on their skin and in their hair don't use this. She has eczema.

This is a really good product. I made a review on the shea lotion and this is just as good. On days when I don't twist her hair I section her hair and use it on her scalp at night & put it in four braids. She has 4c hair and it makes her hair feel so soft and it smells good. On days when I want to do a twist out I wet her hair w/ a concoction of water, coconut oil, section it & put this on each section & brush it through w/ a brush similar to a denman brush & put a little eco styler gel on it & twist it. Her hair came out so beautiful & defined. It lasts and doesn't give build up like a lot of more expensive creams I have tried. And the good thing is their products are inexpensive.
