I hve tried just about every stick style "gloss", "balm" and "stain" out there and was never very impressed. I decided to buy this on a whim and try it out. WOW!! This is the best stick I have ever tried. It is super easy to apply. It goes on smoothly and evenly. I did not even need to use any lipliner, it just went on that precisely. I have seen other reviews of this product where people have complained of it being broken straight out the package. I did not have that problem. The formula to me seemed like a even cross between a gloss and a lipstick. My lips felt very moisturized and had a nice shine. I really liked that there was no stickiness at all. I cannot speak for every color as I only purchased two. I bought scarlet twist and ballet twist. Both had quite a nice color payoff in my opinion. Scarlet twist is a very bright color that seems to me to be a little bit on the orangey side. Ballet twist is a nude frosted color that has lots of gold shimmer in it. It was a pretty color, but for me personally I felt that it just washed me out a little bit (I have super fair skin). I left this product on for a while to test it out and it seemed like it will stay on pretty good. I think I didn't make the greatest choices colorwise, but the since the application and formula are so good I think I am gonna pick these up in a few different colors (there are lots of colors in the line to choose from so one of them has to be a keeper!!).

ADDENDUM: Since writing this review I purchased two more colors: Rose twist and Jam twist. From the caps I was expecting something different colorwise. Both caps have a little shimmer in them and seem a little metallic but both glosses were had no shimmer in them whatsoever. The cap for Jam twist is very dark and so that was what I was expecting a deep dark plum color. It was not. It was a very bright much lighter shade in actuality. The Rose twist was also lighter than the cap indicated but to a lesser degree than the Jam twist. So basically I think it is a dice roll as to what the color inside actually is. I still like the the actual product I just wish the color was more accurate.

My 3 favorite colors in this gloss balm line are watermelon twist, Scarlet twist and Coral Twist. The colors are not overly bright and blends well. This balm goes on easy , moisturize my lips very nicely, lasts a long time, glossy finish, light weight, easy to apply and I love the colors selection. I'm so happy it's not sticky or gooey and goes on nice and smooth on my lips. I use this lip balm everyday and it doesn't drys my lips out, which a plus in my book. I really like this product and I will purchase it again.

I looked up Best Products on Paula Begon's website because I want to buy makeup that has reviewed ingredients and such. I wrote down all of the best lip products and went to the store. Usually when I see a lip gloss I walk away, the color could be sent specifically for me from the heavens but I associate lip gloss with sticky, too shiny, heavy memories. When I saw this product I was a bit fascinated because I thought all lip glosses have those applicators that you stick into the tube. This one didn't. I almost walked away but a small voice that has no respect for my wallet said "just try it."

I have never been so happy with a lip color purchase. This product keeps my lips moisturized and it goes on easily. It has NO stickiness and it actually feels good on my lips. It's not overly intense and for the first time I haven't found myself mixing different lipsticks together like a paint pallet to get the color just right.

The only downsides are that the colors are not as intense as they seem on the cap. You can't layer it to make the color more intense. (Kind of a good and bad thing). As others have said, it seems that the colors may not be exactly what they look like.

I also suggest applying it onto your lips directly. Usually I put lip colors over lip balms, but this is much better to apply and leave by itself. When I come home I put on a more moisturizing lip balm. I can't remember the colors I bought but I shall buy more.

This defiantly opened my eyes to lip gloss. Plus it stays where I put it.

I love this lip gloss! It can double as a lipstick by applying more layers. One thin layer is great as an everyday gloss and several layers give so much colour, like a lipstick! Great buy!

These are great and moisturizing and cheaper than clinique chubby sticks. I bought in blush color. Will buy again and again.
