This goes on great, doesn't clump, makes my thin, long lashes look like I'm wearing falsies! 4 stars, however, because it tends to flake at the end of the day (although it doesn't smudge).

I love, love, love this mascara the first week or two after it's been opened. It has such a rich color and goes on flawlessly. However, it seems to start drying after it's been opened and after a week or two is very hard to work with and seems to take many more applications to get the same coverage as when its newly opened.

So the pro's are-great coverage and amazing lengthening detail, especially the first week or so after opening.

The con's-starts drying seemingly right after its been opened. Sad, since I hate paying $10 twice a month for great mascara. I might as well pop for a more expensive brand once a month.

I'm still on the hunt for the perfect, inexpensive mascara. I wear it everyday so I need it to last and work well. I've had this L'Oreal mascara for just under 2 weeks and already it's gone from impressive to clumpy as heck. I think the problem is the brush is just too thick. I realize that is what usually creates the fullest lashes, but I'm now having to use an eyelash brush every morning to fix all the clumps I get when I put the mascara on. The first couple of times I used it, it actually went on very smooth. No clumps at all, and a great dark black color. Now, it's just a mess. While it doesn't smudge if I accidently rub my eyes, it does start to flake by the end of the day. I will not be buying this product again. I can't be buying new mascara every 2 weeks...

I loved this mascara. I wore it for several months it was my go-to mascara. It's dramatic, intense, and doesn't significantly clump. However, I noticed after I'd been using it for sometime that I was starting to experience problems with my contacts. I even switched to a different type of lens that was supposed to allow more moisture. Well, I switched to a different mascara that I knew would be inoffensive and changed my lenses to a new pair, and yup, all my problems were gone. I'm sad to have to stop using this mascara, but you gotta do what you gotta do.
