I needed a great spray tan before a big event and my hair salon recommended it. It took me a few tries to figure out the best way to apply it but once I did, I am thrilled with the tan. I've got really awful tan lines all over my shoulders and back, Fake Bake evens them out and gives me an all over bronze. Well worth the cost, lasts for days, looks natural. Use it in the shower because it will get everywhere. Spray in circular motions at least 12 inches away. Exfoliate first and use right before bed, when showering the next day you'll be able to wash any excess off include any minor streaks or uneven places though I typically have very few if any.

Fake Bake Air Brush instant tan is by far the best fake tan product I have used. First, the color is amazingly realistic. No orangey skin, the tan looks like you were out in the tropical sun, so for that reason alone it is great. Additionally the scent is pretty pleasant.Secondly, the spray delivery system makes it pretty simple to cover whatever areas you are looking to tan. Be sure to spray it on in the shower, there is some over-spray and it would make a mess on bathroom walls. Obviously you can rinse out your shower after you tan.
When you are ready to begin the tanning process, make sure you shower/bathe and exfoliate first. I always apply some moisturizer to the specific areas I am going to "tan" and extra moisturizer on knees, elbows, ankles, feet and any other dry areas so that the spray doesn't concentrate there and turn out looking too dark.
Then spray in long sweeping motions, about 8-12 inches away from your body, don't stop and start the spray, keep it going and the application will be pretty smooth, with practice. I personally use a fake tanning application brush from Bare Escentuals to help lightly buff in the spray in areas where it doesn't apply evenly, you do have to work without delay as the spray dries quickly. Obviously, the more you use it the easier it is to apply without much error.
Wait until the "tanned" areas are completely dry (takes a few minutes) and then you can get dressed or put on your PJ's if you "tan" at bedtime. I "tan" in the morning and when I am getting ready for bed many hours later the color looks fabulous and is, of course, completely developed by then. But you don't have to wait that long for results, give the spray at least 4-6 hours to do its thing. You will love the results. Also, make sure you don't get the "tanned" areas wet for several hours after you apply the spray or it will tend to wash off or get streaky.
Gloves are included in the product box. Like I said, I use a tanning buffing brush, so I have no experience using the gloves, but they would prevent staining in case you want to blend in the color with your hand.
