I brought one from this company. I suspected this is an expired product or really old. The content smells bad, it comes out as a lump and it won't apply to the eye lashes. What a waste of money.

I love this CoverGirl LashBlast mascara in black. It makes my lashes look longer and it does not clump. Even less when used correctly. Two tips I have recently learned about applying and using mascara to get better results and make it last longer:

1. Do not pump the wand in and out of the tube; this lets air go in the tube and it'll dry up faster, which could clump your lashes, too. Rather, twist the wand inside the tube. I have noticed that it lasts much longer.

2. To apply, wiggle the wand as you move up from the base to the top of your lashes, this way you get every lash, avoiding clumps.

Compared to Lashblast Fusion also by CoverGirl (purple tube), in my opinion, this one makes eyelashes more visible.

My most favorite mascara is Dior Extase, but at $28 a tube, it is quite expensive. I was looking for a drugstore alternative that was easier on the wallet and after reading a lot of online reviews, decided to give this mascara a try. It is a nice black and does give my thin lashes a volume boost, but only after a few coats, unlike Extase which gives instant fullness. It did also dry out quickly I have since moved on to Clinique High Impact mascara.
