I was a bit hesitant to buy this product because of the price here and actual retail value of MAC brushes at the store, but I decided to anyways. Unfortunately these are not real MAC brushes but they aren't bad in relation. I do not appreciate the fact that they imply that these are REAL MAC brushes and if I really felt like it I could return them and get my money back for fraud. Aside from being disappointed in the actual purchase the customer service was great. I got a hand written note and the package came before expected. I gave this a rating of 3 out of 5 because these are not real and that is what I had expected.

They are FAKE!! NOT real MAC brushes.And when I was opening the bag they smelled like turpentine.

The timing on shipping was great. Adequately padded packaging but upon opening everything smelled like turpentine. I have to agree with the other three star review, they seem like ok brushes but knock-offs. Cheap case, cheaper brushes with fake logo and blockey "Japan" stamp. Thought about keeping them because I need brushes but NOT ones that smell like paint thinner. I feel deceived.

Yes they are knockoff MAC brushes but what do you expect for the price. The brushes are still good quality and everything works fine. I recommend getting a new case for them once they arrive as the one they come in is cheap and smells funny which makes the brushes smell as well.

The brushes work very well... Some say they're knock off... If they are, it's the best $60 I spent for a knock off product!!!
