I've been looking for a dry shampoo for ages but none ever came up in the stores. I am so happy I found this stuff. I can't wash my hair every day because my skin and hair are very, very dry. When I get a little oiliness in the hair around my face, I just brush a little of this on and brush out my hair and Voila! It looks freshly washed again. The compact size is perfect for travel and I can carry it in my purse to fix up suntan lotion mishaps (you know, you're putting sunblock on your face and you rub some on your hairline).

The brush has a sleeve that comes down over it so you can snap the lid back on without ruining the brush. I love this feature. This product was very well thought out and designed.

I love Shampowder! It's easy to use, and really soaks up the oil when I need to skip a shampoo. And the blonde color doesnt show up on my scalp, blends in perfectly.

I had read excellent reviews of this product so I thought I would splurge on this pricier option for dry shampooing. First the good news: The container is very small so it's great for travel. The powder is very nice as opposed to annoying sprays. I am a natural blonde, and I like the color. The bad news: The applicator is like a facial powder brush. The directions state you need to tap the container to release the powder into the brush. The problem is that the plastic cap for the brush does not fit back over the brush bristles, so the tapping action is difficult. Also, it takes a very long time for enough of the powder to fill the base of the brush. I do like the powder, but I will try another kind of dry shampoo after this is done.

Quick version

Love the powder. Blends well & smells light vanilla (only used brunette/red color)

Love the tube & applicator although a little tricky @ first

a little pricey but seems like it may last me a while so may be worth the dough.

I do use the one for Brunette or Red hair as I am dark brunette but wanted to say I love the light smell and easy blending. The applicator is tricky but works well once you figure it out. You must first open the container and remove the shipping seal. Can't remember what position the lid is in at first but with cap on you can light tap and shake the tube to loosen the powder. Then to apply make sure the collar of the brush is pushed down to expose the full brush (a slight turn clockwise will lock it in place). While holding brush side down either with the cap on or w/out cap over the area to be applied (I prefer this way for heavier applying & to not fill the cap with wasted powder) I hold the tube with one hand while gently tapping against the palm of the other hand to fill the brush with powder. You can then dab the areas with the brush but to keep the powder in the brush it needs to stay upside down (know that's obvious but some people may need that point).

Why I don't know but this isn't in the instructions but very helpful. Now the part that has confused most, gently twist the brush collar counter-clockwise and push up around the bristles to put the cap back on for storing or transporting. I think its design is brilliant myself but seems difficult for some to master.

This dry shampoo is too heavy. When I brush it on my bangs, it leaves them flat and weighted down.
